Use Your iPad Hands-Free with the iMagnet Mount!  {review & giveaway}

I'm always having a hard time propping up the iPad so we can see it…whether it be to FaceTime with family, watch videos where we all can see them, read a book on the iPad, or read a recipe while I'm trying to cook.  I really don't like the options available for iPad stands or holders because there are about two different ways to make your iPad stand up, and they just don't feel secure to me.  So when I heard about the iMagnet Mount, I was excited because the angles and positions you can display the iPad truly are many!  You can mount the iMagnet on the roof of your van so all of the kids can see it, you can mount it on the side of your bathroom while you soak in the tub, mount it on the kitchen cabinet to read a recipe….the possibilities are endless.

When the iMagnet Mount came in the mail, I emptied the box's contents and was a little baffled.  But, then I decided to read the (easy!) directions and had it figured out in no time.

The iMagnet kit comes with an iPad cover that has a magnet already in it OR you can install another magnet in your current iPad cover or case, whichever you prefer.  And in case you wondered, there is no magnetic interference that affects the iPad's functionality and performance.

Then, you simply install the mount wherever you want it.  And it's not permanent, so that's good!  I chose to install it on my kitchen counter and try a new recipe.  I hate hovering over the iPad and trying to read it from afar!  I also have been known to put my iPad on the stove and yeah…that's not a good idea!

All you do is lock the clip to suction the iMagnet to the surface:

If you're worried about the strength of the suction, iMagnet's special sticky suction cup is twice as powerful as traditional suction cups.

Then you adjust the top part to be just the right angle.  If your magnet case is on the iPad, it's ready to go.  I also put the iMagnet Mount where I could charge it as I used it:

I really enjoy using the iMagnet Mount, especially for cooking!!!  It's sooooooo much easier and more helpful in the kitchen!

Here is my wonderful husband explaining how easy it is to install the iMagnet:

I learned that The iMagnet Mount is only suitable for non-porous surfaces, such as glass, ceramic tiles, polished stone, heavily lacquered wood, and smooth plastic. We do not recommend mounting on lightly lacquered wood, walls, granite, and other non-porous surfaces that allow air to seep into the suction when mounted.
