A few weeks ago, I posted that Captain Fussybuckets is obsessed with watching “Peppa Pig.” We discovered that there are a lot of “Peppa Pig” episodes on YouTube and of course, it’s a regular show on Nick Jr. now. I think is hilarious when he uses the different words that people in England and other countries use. Here are just a few of the ways he has enlightened us over the past month:
-When we pulled up to the gas station to fill up with GAS, he said “Mommy, is this petrol?”
-Daddy was pretending to order some food from the Captain one day. He said “okay, Daddy, that will be 5 pounds.” Daddy replied with “no, pounds tell you how heavy something is. Where did you hear that from? He said, “Peppa pig.”
-I asked him one day if it was hot or cold outside and he replied with “it’s just lovely outside!”
-This morning, when Baby D turned off the TV, the Captain said “I’ll mend it for you, Mommy!”
(that was a bit off, but quite hilarious!)
Ahhh….as one of my friends said….funny how my little red haired Hispanic boy is becoming English. ha!
