I know, I'm being obnoxious writing this post, but I need to get something out and provide a Public Service Announcement because all kinds of professionals using Facebook are making silly errors this morning. The store is called "Walmart," not "Walmarts." Nor is it called "Walmart's" because well, it's just not. There are some stores that DO have the "s" at the end, like "Walgreens" and rarely, those with an apostrophe, like "Lowe's" (the hardware store.) I've created a handy go to graphic in case you don't know the appropriate title of the store you're referring to.
Do you have any more to add that I missed?

I used to say Barnes and Nobles. But I think that's natural with the first part.

I don't think there is anything at all obnoxious about this post. The misuse of apostrophes is obnoxious to me! I really don't understand why people started inserting them wherever there is an s at the end of a word. As you point out, it is rarely necessary. But I have a sinking feeling that this is a losing battle.
