We have this cute baby calendar that has saved my sanity. I knew I wouldn’t keep up with a baby book, so I never bought one. Calendars are the way to go! And this one that we have from Current is perfect! It has the perfect amount of stickers in the back to mark all of the milestones throughout the year.
My problem, however, (and I know that to label it a “problem” is sooo dramatic…) but my problem is that I never know when to “sticker” the milestone. Take Baby D. He’s getting up on all fours and moving forward. There’s a label for “begins to creep” but it’s more than creeping. He’s lunging himself forward to get whatever he wants, but not crawling around the house like a man on a mission (yet.) Do I wait until it’s a full on crawl or do I put the sticker on today because he IS “beginning” to crawl. ????

LOL! Well, I guess you're right! No one will ever go back and look. I just don't want to forget about it and never put it on there. With CF, we put it on the instant he started "army crawling" and good thing, because he never did the "real crawl."
HA!

I always questioned when it was the right time too. I don't have any suggestions, except just do what feels right. If you feel like he's creeping than put that sticker. If you feel like he's beginning to crawl, than use it. No one is going to look back over them and say "I wonder if that was REALLY the day he started to crawl." :)

I love my baby books- I wrote everything down with my daughter and plan to do the same with The Boy!

I know exactly what you mean. With the older kids I missed getting a lot down because I was waiting for just the right time, and before I knew it I'd missed things like creeping because they moved onto crawling. This time I'm a total baby book fanatic. I just do it as soon as he appears to be starting that particular thing. I can't believe he's already so big. Both of your boys are such cuties!!
