The other day I was in a hurry to start lunch and I had no idea what to make. I rummaged through our food and came up with three ingredients: Panko bread crumbs, Italian dressing, and chicken. It sounded good, and they turned out really well! Here's what I did…
First, turn on the oven to about 375. Cut the chicken into bite size pieces. Then, put them in the Italian dressing and let them soak for a bit. I did everything in three sections…..cut some chicken, put it in the dressing, and cut some more while I let the first batch sit. Then, take the chicken out of the dressing and coat it with Panko bread crumbs:
Next up, coat a pan (I used a pizza pan) with oil or cooking spray and place the Panko crusted chicken nuggets on the pan!
Then cook the nuggets for about 20 minutes or less. We like ours more on the done side and I even turned the oven to "broil" for the last minute or two make them extra crispy!
(Pardon the steam covered lens!) And also take note…the crumbs will burn so either placing the nuggets closer together is a good idea!
