Feel Secure with the VTech Safe & Sound Audio and Video Baby Monitor!

I had no idea that VTech, one of our favorite brands, made a video baby monitor until I found them online one day.  We really have had good luck with VTech products.  It's amazing that they make such a vast array of high quality products!

We were able to review the VTech Safe & Sound Full Color Video and Audio Monitor.  The monitor was really easy to install.  We put it on the wall, in a place that was close enough to the crib to see Baby D, but also far enough away that the cord didn't post a strangulation threat.  The VTech camera is able to be rotated, tilted, and even has a zoom option so you can see exactly what is going on in Baby's crib.

I really like the Parent Unit.  It has everything you could possibly want!  Volume control, temperature sensor, Talk-Back Intercom system, high resolution 2.8" color LCD screen, and a vibrating sound alert.

The camera can also play five different lullabies.  We haven't used this function, but it would be nice for an infant or a baby a little younger.  I'm thinking it might scare Baby D since he wouldn't know what it was at this point, but maybe not.

I also like the fact that both the camera and the parent unit have a battery backup, so if the electricity goes off, there's no obnoxious beeping and the monitoring isn't interrupted.  And, the night viewing is obviously a necessity!  The picture is crisp and clear because the camera infrared LEDs sense the lighting and adjust as needed.

And while we only have one camera, up to four cameras can be supported on the Parent Unit.  This is great!  A parent of four wouldn't have to buy anything but additional cameras and then view each room/bed using the same Parent Unit.  Viewing modes include single screen or Quad View split screen.  The monitor has a great range – up to 1,000 feet!

Ready for the best part, or at least my favorite part?  You've heard about creeps who walk around the neighborhood with a parent unit and can pick up on other frequencies to spy on babies or kids, right?  Well, with the VTech monitor, all transmissions are encrypted for your privacy and security.

So, tell me, what more could you possibly want in a video/audio monitor?  VTech has made a perfect monitor that suits our needs perfectly, all for a price that is almost unbelievable.  This monitor sells for only $129.95!!  I know, I sound like an infomercial, but seriously, other brands that have these features are selling for over $150.  I couldn't believe it when I saw the price.  This monitor is so good and we love it so much that I found it hard to believe that it was only $129.95.  PLUS, if you buy it at VTech, you get free shipping! (The extra video cameras will run about $50 each).  You can also purchase this monitor at Amazon or Target.

If we ever need another camera or something happens to this monitor, we WILL be purchasing VTech again.  We're 100% satisfied with this awesome monitor!

Wow I had no idea they made baby monitors either. I've also never seen a baby monitor that is so high tech. That's amazing! I've never heard of creeps listening in on baby monitors though...

I want this for my basement!  My daughter plays down there and it would be so much easier to check up on her vs running downstairs every 10 minutes.

Wow, what a great monitor!  We got video monitors for each of our girls, but I could never find one with parent talk back.  Maybe we'll get this one when we (eventually) have baby #3.  Thanks for the helpful review!
