Summer is the best time to try new recipes because everything is so fresh and delicious and hopefully, plentiful. I love trying new dipping sauces, so I made this delicious Avocado Tomatillo Blender Salsa and it was the perfect sauce for Mexican food!

I made it in the short time my air fryer flautas were cooking. (The linked recipe is for breakfast taquitos, but you can make any filling with that recipe!)

This fresh salsa is a little spicy, but you can adjust that to your liking. The avocado makes it creamy without any added dairy.

Serve this salsa with just about any Mexican food. It goes so well with chips, tacos, flautas, anything you want to dip. You could also drizzle it over enchiladas or taco potatoes and Mexican rice.


Avocado Tomatillo Blender Salsa
This avocado tomatillo blender salsa is quick and easy to make, perfect for Taco Tuesday!
Ingredients
- 4 tomatillos
- 2 avocados
- 1 serrano pepper
- bunch of cilantro
- 2-3 green onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Wash vegetables.
- Hull tomatillos, if the crunchy peeling is still on (not the skin.)
- Cut end off serrano pepper
- All all ingredients to the blender and blend well.
- Serve with your favorite chips or Mexican food!

Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
