A Fresh Start for the Holidays: A New Artificial Christmas Tree Is Worth It

My husband and I have been married for 20 years and we have always had an artificial Christmas tree. I cannot remember if we have owned one or two, but I do know that the first was a gift and the second was bought on an after Christmas clearance.

When we moved to our new home 6 years ago, I knew that I wanted a taller artificial Christmas tree because our living room has a very high ceiling, and the 6' tree we did have looked really tiny.

This year we have upgraded our Christmas tree and I am so glad that we did. I set up our 9' Alpine Fir artificial Christmas Tree with warm LED lights and it is perfect in our living room! I shopped at King of Christmas for the perfect tree that would look great in our home. They have so many options, so definitely look there if you are interested in an upgrade.

The tree came in two huge boxes, and I definitely put off putting the tree together for a few weeks because I just knew it would take hours and be a dreadful experience. HOWEVER, the whole setup took less than 30 minutes. These trees really are so much easier to assemble than the artificial trees you are probably remembering.

The tree came with a metal tree stand that just expands for easy setup. It also comes with protective gloves to shape your tree in style without getting scratched up arms. And, when you're done with the tree, simply place it and the accessories in the off-season storage bag.

This particular tree is 9 feet tall and 67" wide. It is pre-strung with 1100 UL warm white micro LED lights. The tree just "unfolds" when you set it up and the wires do not need to be searched for and plugged in together to make all of the lights work! The power pole eliminates the need to connect any wires, which is truly magical. It also includes a remove and foot pedal to make choosing which lights you want to use.

The Alpine Fir mimics the genuine look and feel of a real Alpine Fir tree, native to the Washington state region. Each branch is artfully designed to replicate the natural growth patterns, color, and even texture of the true Alpine Fir - captivating with its realism.

Why should I choose an artificial tree?

We all know that real trees offer the smell and true feel of a Christmas tree, but they are a LOT of work. With artificial trees, there is no going to the store or tree farm, dragging it home, picking up needles, placing it in the tree stand, stringing it with lights, and no keeping up with the watering needs. Setup of an artificial tree is less than 30 minutes and especially if you are allergic to trees like I am, this is such a great choice for your holiday decorating!

Can I buy an unlit artificial tree?

You can definitely buy an unlit artificial tree. It just depends on your preference. If you would like to light your own tree or just prefer a tree with no lights, then an unlit tree is the way to go.

Fire-Resistant Tree

Celebrate the season with confidence, knowing that your tree is built with fire-resistant materials, ensuring a safe and joyous holiday season.

How long do artificial Christmas trees last?

Most artificial Christmas trees last between 8 to 10 years with proper care and storage, though high-quality trees can last even longer. The lifespan depends on factors like the material, how often it's assembled and disassembled, and how it's stored (a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture helps prevent damage).

If you are on the fence about whether to pull your old, dusty tree from storage or to upgrade to one from King of Christmas, look around the site and see what you like. They have a lot of trees on sale right now, so it's a great time to buy.
