Chicken Alfredo Sliders

If you love chicken alfredo, these Chicken Alfredo Sliders are a fun way to enjoy those same flavors in an easy-to-make sandwich. They're creamy, cheesy, and packed with chicken Alfredo goodness, all tucked inside soft Hawaiian rolls. They're a great option when you want something a little different for dinner or need an easy recipe to share with family and friends.

One of my favorite things about sliders is how easy they are to serve. You can make a batch for a quick weeknight meal, serve them for lunch, or add them to the menu for your next game day gathering. Since they're small and easy to grab, they also work well for parties, potlucks, and casual get-togethers.

These Chicken Alfredo Sliders bring together the comfort of a classic pasta dish and the convenience of a handheld sandwich. Serve them with a simple salad, some roasted vegetables, or your favorite side dish for a complete meal. If you're looking for a new way to use chicken and alfredo sauce, these sliders are worth adding to your recipe rotation!

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Hawaiian rolls (12 count)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into small cubes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 15 oz jar of Alfredo sauce
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 TBS butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

    2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.

    3. Add the cubed chicken and seasonings.

    4. Cook the chicken, stirring occasionally, until completely cooked through.

    5. Keeping the Hawaiian rolls connected, slice the entire package in half horizontally to create a top and bottom layer.

    6. Place the bottom half of the rolls into a baking dish.

    7. Sprinkle about half of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the rolls.
    8. Add the cooked chicken over the cheese, then drizzle Alfredo sauce over the chicken. You can use as much or as little sauce as you like.

    9. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the Alfredo chicken, then add the crumbled bacon.

    10. Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls back on.

    11. Mix the melted butter with ½ teaspoon dried parsley and garlic powder.

    12. Brush the garlic butter generously over the tops of the rolls.
    13. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are lightly golden.

    14. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.

    15. Serve with extra warmed Alfredo sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

● Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days in an airtight container.
● Rotisserie chicken can be used instead of cooking chicken from scratch for an even quicker version.
● For extra saucy sliders, add a little more Alfredo sauce inside, but avoid adding too much or the bottoms can become soggy.
● You can use freshly cooked bacon or precooked microwave bacon to save time.
