Things my 3 year old said during the CMAs

Captain Fussybuckets usually only watches Nick Jr., kids’ DVDs, and the occasional sports event on TV.  I used to watch the Country Music Association Awards religiously as a child and teenager, but haven’t watched the show in a few years and really don’t follow any country music singer except Keith Urban.  However, I was sick and vegging out on the couch and within the first few minutes, he was glued to the TV and spewing out random comments and questions.  So, I thought I’d share with you some funny things he said!

1.  “Those girls need to put more clothes on.”

2.  “He’s a cowboy!!!”

3.  “Something’s on her head.  It’s a flower!”

4.  “I like Keith Urban’s voice.”

5.  “I want one of those.”
(this was repeated many times, referring to any new instrument he saw.)

6.  “I wish our house looked like that.”  yeah, me too, kid.

7.  “Those girls need to put pants on.”  AGAIN.  I don’t see why *that* had to be on the CMAs.  So sad, but at least it presented the opportunity to talk about how girls should NOT dance like that and yes, they did need pants on!

8.  “I like this song better. There’s no naked girls.”

and my personal favorite….
“I want to snuggle with you, Mommy.”

awww….

I also love listening to funny comments little kids are saying. I remember once reading a book with a collection of kid's comments and it really made me LOL. I don't remember which one it was but it was something like Chicken Soup.

Very Cute! I didn't watch the show, but I bet had my son seen it he would also be asking for some new instruments.
