“You Are More Than You’ve Been Told” Book

I know that many women are consumed with the world and the opinions of others. I love this new book by Hosanna Wong, You Are More Than You’ve Been Told. She is a great writer and a great speaker, as well.

You Are More Than What You’ve Been Told Book

If you have ever felt unseen, unwanted, or unworthy or know someone that is feeling down from abuse or low self esteem, this book might be something that can help. We have all been told lies our whole life. But the good news is that there is a way to know who we really are and live like it every single day.

Hosanna Wong encourages and inspires readers in a practical, tangible way. She talks about how when Jesus was on earth, he lived a lifestyle in a way that helped Him fight the lies of the enemy. By looking at Jesus and His habits, we can discover how to live lighter and live who we were really meant to be.

In this book, you will be taught how to identify the lies that have held you back and uncover important truths about who you are and have always been, discover tangible tools to help you heal from deep wounds and see God in the most tender places of your story, and unlock four key rhythms that will help you be free of burdens you were never meant to carry.

You are more than what you’ve been told and what others have led you to believe.  This is such an inspiring book for any woman, or man, who struggles with self doubt and self esteem.

There is also a workbook that will help you digest the information better and apply it to your own life.

This book would be a great gift for a young adult starting out in college or at their first job. That part of life was difficult for me, so something like this book would have been beneficial, I believe. Just to know that someone cares about them is amazing, but to read the pages of this book, full of inspiration, would be really, really helpful.
