Summertime is fun…or it should be. Things are weird now, however, in that I feel like I have to take the kids places, fill their days with amazement, and jam pack their summer with awesomeness. Okay, I don’t really feel like that, but I do feel the pressure to make my kids have an awesome summer. No one wants their kid to say “I didn’t do anything fun this summer” on the first day back to school writing prompt. (But let’s be honest, sometimes they pick the most random and obscure thing to write about anyway.)

These days I am all about creating fun times together without a big production. We were sent the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Machine & Party Package and the boys’ summer instantly became much more amazing! They love shaved ice, (who doesn’t?!) so when I started putting everything out, they loved it.

The party pack has enough for a …party, of course, but also enough for a summer full of memories and yumminess! I set it up quickly and easily and was able to make shaved ice pretty quickly.  I had frozen some ice in the provided molds the day before, but you can use regular ice cubes with this machine and I can honestly say that either way is just as simple!

The shaved ice is smooth and soft:

The party pack came with three classic flavors: Blue Raspberry, Grape, and Cherry, along with 25 spoon straws and 25 snow cone cups. If any of my children had a summer birthday, I would definitely be using it for that!

The provided bottle pourers make it not so messy and easy enough for an 8 year old to not overdo it on the syrup.

Mixing the colors is totally allowed with Hawaiian Shaved Ice parties!

The boys and even Dad love shaved ice at home! It’s such a fun, delicious way to make your summer days brighter!
