Smash Burger Bowl

My family really loves Smash Burgers, so believe it or not, we had leftovers the other day and I immediately had the idea for this out of this world Smash Burger Bowl. It is basically a deconstructed smash burger, without the bun.

If you want to know how to make a smash burger patty, simply put, you just roll up some ground beef in a ball, get your griddle super hot and smash it down with this smash tool and some parchment paper. Parchment paper is key! If you want a step by step, check out this recipe.

What is special sauce?

Special sauce, or secret sauce as it's sometimes called, is a burger and fry sauce that you can either make or buy. Many companies have their own special sauce, but I prefer this one from Primal Kitchen. Walmart sells one that my sons love, that is much less expensive.

I sometimes make my own special sauce with mayo, pickle juice, coconut aminos, salt, paprika, etc. It's so good!

Here is the bowl without sauce:

If you are wanting a lighter lunch and have some leftover smash burgers in the fridge, you will love this easy recipe! Better yet, if you have leftover fries, just throw those in the air fryer for a few minutes and add them to your bowl!
