Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have been making banana bread on almost a weekly basis around here. It is not only a great way to use any browned bananas, it is a quick, great, nutritious snack. Another recipe that combines classic banana bread with chocolate chip cookies is these Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Adding a banana to your favorite baked goods not only provides a little sweetness plus flavor, it adds a little extra nutrition and is a great way to get a serving of fruit in.

These travel really well in a lunchbox and are great for an after school snack.

I also love this recipe because we usually have all of these ingredients in the house. It's a pretty simple recipe.

Can I make this dairy and gluten free?

Yes! Just use dairy free butter or coconut oil (I like this butter flavored coconut oil.) I also like using this gluten free flour blend, but there are many great options available.
