Strawberry Tiramisu

Strawberry tiramisu is the kind of dessert that feels both familiar and a little unexpected, in the best way. It takes everything we love about classic tiramisu and gives it a bright, fresh twist that feels perfect for spring gatherings, summer celebrations, a Valentine's Day dessert, or anytime you want something light but still indulgent. The strawberries add just enough sweetness and freshness to balance the creamy layers, making this dessert feel effortless, yet very special.

This is the type of no-stress dessert that looks beautiful on the table without requiring hours in the kitchen. It's cool, creamy, and made for sharing, which is exactly what I love most about recipes like this.

Strawberry tiramisu is the ideal dessert when you need something you can prep ahead of time and let chill while you focus on enjoying the moment, whether that's hosting friends, celebrating a holiday, or just treating your family to something sweet.

What makes this dessert especially appealing is how versatile it is. It works just as well in a large dish for casual get-togethers as it does portioned into individual cups for showers, brunches, or dinner parties.

The ingredients are simple and easy to find at your local grocery store:

strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, strawberry milk, strawberry syrup, Ladyfingers, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, heavy cream, freeze dried strawberries

If you're looking for a dessert that feels fresh, comforting, and crowd-pleasing all at once, strawberry tiramisu delivers every time. It's proof that simple ingredients, layered together with a little care, can create something truly memorable, no oven required, just a spoon and a reason to linger a little longer at the table.

This cool, creamy dessert is the perfect Valentine's Day treat, but it is delicious and well received year round!

Ingredients

  • Strawberry Filling:
  • 4 cups strawberries, washed and quartered
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Strawberry Milk Dip:
  • 1 cup strawberry milk, warmed
  • ⅓ cup strawberry syrup
  • 28 Ladyfingers
  • Mascarpone Filling:
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cup heavy cream
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup freeze dried strawberries, blended to create strawberry dust

Notes

1. Make the Strawberry Filling: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine quartered strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Cook for about 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

2. Prepare the Mascarpone Filling: In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

3. Dip the Ladyfingers: In a shallow bowl, mix strawberry milk and strawberry syrup. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the mixture, one at a time, just long enough to soak slightly without getting soggy.

4. Assemble the Layers

a. Arrange half of the dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of the 9x13 baking pan.

b. Spread half of the mascarpone filling evenly over the ladyfingers.

c. Spoon the cooled strawberry filling on top.

d. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers.

e. Finish with the remaining mascarpone filling, smoothing it evenly over the top.

5. Chill: Cover the tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours) to let the flavors meld.

6. Add the Strawberry Dust Topping: Just before serving, sprinkle the blended freeze-dried strawberry dust evenly over the top for a beautiful finish and burst of berry flavor. To garnish the edges, place fresh strawberry slices.
