Piñata makers need a raise! It's hard work!

Piñata makers don’t get paid enough.  I started making Captain Fussybuckets a piñata for his 3rd birthday party a few weeks ago.  His party isn’t until Saturday, but the piñata still isn’t finished.  Yes, it’s hard when I have to work on it during naptime or after bedtime, but at naptime, Baby D is between naps so he tries to grab it and, of course, eat it.  But, the good news is that it’s ALMOST done and Fussybuckets has NO clue!
I found the “easy” DIY piñata on Pinterest.  It sure looked easy, the blog writer made it SOUND easy, and well, okay, it’s not rocket science but man, it is NOT easy and it is very time consuming.  My husband keeps making comments like “How do you feel knowing that they’re just going to smash it in a few seconds?”  ahhhhhh  Whatever.  The Captain wanted a piñata, I’m going to make him a piñata!!  I refuse to buy one!  They’re $15 at Walmart, and they’re cute and all detailed and everything but alas, I still truly believe that they should sell for about $50 with all the hard work that goes into it!  The things we do for our kids…..

This is NOT what my piñata looks like….think SIMPLE and DIY and “EASY”…….pictures to come later.  Maybe.
